A Report to Our Friends

During the past election cycles, we have spent more than $3 million raised from individual donations to recruit, direct and mobilize activists that resulted in the registration of 455,562 new moral values voters throughout the country.

And with the help of our many supporters, our Get Out the Vote (GOTV) program turned out an estimated 1.2 million to 1.5 million voters at the polls.

Our efforts included:

• Distributing 530,000 copies of our 96-page paperback book, “Building the Shining City,” a how-to guide for grassroots activists
• Recruiting 6,199 Voter Registration/Church Captains who volunteered to lead the voter registration and GOTV programs in their churches and neighborhoods across the country
• Sending out more than 125,000 Voter Action Kits that provided an instructional brochure on organizing registration and GOTV drives, as well as bumper stickers and yard signs.
• Mailing 5.1 million voter outreach letters targeted to homes around the nation alerting people to the moral problems facing America today
• Launching this Web site to help people find the latest voter information and materials for their state, as well as maintaining our other Web site,, AmericanServiceCouncil.com, to educate voters on the moral issues
